Dani + Atlas // Soft + Sensual Wisconsin LGBTQ+ Couples Session

HI!

If you’ve been around for a while, there are two words you’ve probably heard me say a million times. It’s the thing I’m constantly seeking, desiring to create + build, pursuing always in all that I do.

Queer joy.

And this shoot, of all shoots, exemplifies that phrase for me. Atlas + Dani asked for a session to celebrate their anniversary and allowed me to take the reins + plan something special for them. I presented them with the idea of decadence + softness, but this shoot became so much more than what I even anticipated! They radiated such sensuality, tenderness, and intimacy that it was impossible not to be a lil bit lost in the magic they create. After we finished with their fruit picnic, we wandered past the trout stream and into the left-behind ruins. I told them about how I’d love to someday shoot a couple in the water, and they exchanged knowing glances before telling me that they wanted to be the ones to do it. Without even having a change of clothes in the car, they slipped into the pond and made my dreams come true!
