Nat + Murphy // Moody + Modern Wedding at a Rustic Castle

HI Y’ALL!

I have been chomping at the bit to share these photos with you since the moment I took them. Walking up to this venue, which truly looks like a castle in the middle of nowhere, I was not prepared for just how gorgeous this entire day would turn out to be.

Nat + Murphy both got ready in this incredible home, full of eclectic handcrafted fixtures, surrounded by the sweetest crew of friends + family. After sharing a first look in a sun-soaked bedroom, they tied the knot in the lawn with a vineyard to one side and beautiful rolling meadow to the other. Their ceremony was completely them - personal and tender and full of giggles - but above all else, it felt so totally present and mindful. After romping through the tall grass for some of my absolute favorite portraits, we were beckoned back to the winehouse by the delicious smell of tacos from the Taqueria Maldonado’s food truck stationed outside. They spent the remainder of the night enjoying yummy vegan cupcakes, laughing with their amazing friends, and sneaking out for a quick champagne toast + frolic at sunset.

I know y’all are not here to read along while I wax poetic about this wedding day, but lemme just say that I continue to be so honored + humbled to experience these moments along with my couples. Words don’t begin to convey how much I love this job and how thankful I am for each weekend that I get to spend celebrating love.
