Best of 2017
HAPPY HOLIDAYS!
I'm a little bit under the weather (read: have not changed out of my pajamas in days and have gone through an entire box of tissues) so I thought I'd take the opportunity to reflect on this year + put together a blog post of a (heaping) handful of my favorite images. My initial plan was to pick my favorite from each shoot, but that left me with way too many. Like, a zillion? So then I tried to narrow it down to my top 50...which ended up being my top 60. That's the best I can do for you.
2017 has been such a strange and exciting year. I was able to travel to Washington, California, and NYC, shoot two dozen seniors, spend time with so many sweethearts on their wedding days, and watch three couples elope. I watched a bride find out she was getting a kitten, I watched grooms shed tears at the sight of their new wives, I watched a daughter share a first look with her mother who was ill. I made friends with so many amazing seniors, laughed and cried right along with my couples, and probably ate too much wedding cake. I'm so thankful to each and every person that selected me to be their photographer this year. It might not feel like much to anyone else, but each and every one of you have helped me to pursue my dreams and to support myself + my family - and that means everything. I'm gonna try not to get too sentimental here, but just know that you all made my year a lil brighter, and I'm so glad to know you.
